In the last issue of RV Travel Lifestyle we reviewed the German-built Carthago motorhome being imported by Paul Cook at RnRV in Silverdale, and checked out the Chic C-Line 1 5.0. I was impressed with that model at the time, but seeing the larger E-line model at the show, I just have to share this with readers as well so we took this model for a drive after the show, to Matakatia Bay.

A drop down coffee machine shelf – perfect in today’s demanding world, and check out the views from the kitchen workspace

The en-suite bathroom is beautiful, warm, well lit, with great vanity and mirrored storage – nice Drawers with fitted spaces and pull-out pantry with fitted bins are very stylish, and offer multiple storage options. Cooking is on the three-gas hob on bench cook top with split glass cover; the sink has a cover as well, adding to useable workspace The bedroom has a boudoir feeling with warm wood tones and the Queen bed centre-stage. Wardrobes on each side, overhead lockers, and drawers under the bed give plenty of storage options An inviting shower – the ‘rain’ showerhead is very classy and with 235L fresh, 185L grey tanks, a decent shower can be had. Double doors between the bed-bathroom area and the front living space offer privacy multiple ways Huge storage in this E-line – the rear garage interior height is 1120mm and is accessible through doors on both sides. Doors lift up easily on gas struts and lock open as required The driver’s window slides open, the cab seats swivel to join the dining_entertainment area. A large pop up TV is located behind the wall seating, to the right of the entry door area 8.
